CONSTRUCTION OF SILVAN DAM TASKOPRU VIADUCT AND CONNECTION VILLAGE ROADS

Project Status
Continues

The project, which consists of a 520.9 m long viaduct and a 7.18 km long village road, will be realized in Taşköprü, which will be submerged after the Silvan Dam, which is Turkey's second largest irrigation project, becomes operational. The construction of Taşköprü viaduct and connection village roads is of great importance due to the water level, which is determined as about 100 meters by hydraulic calculations. Another prominent feature of the project is that the Taşköprü viaduct is planned as the most comprehensive and mixed structure viaduct to be built by DSI in Turkey. Taşköprü viaduct, which is predicted to have the highest mid-pier length of 132 meters (above the fountadion - under-pavement pier height of 115 meters), stands out as a structure designed as a balanced cantilever with a length of approximately 520 meters.
